Jozef Kollár

SUMMARY

Glass as a structure material is used in a greater extent in new architectural works, but also in reconstructions and additions of historical buildings. Architects take advantage of the glass and hi-tech elements to design a shape and coloring of the buildings. When the glass is used in the frontage of the historical buildings, it does not cover signs of building styles. Design of the glass structure in lateral cover can create environment, which can regulate itself according to the requirements of the energetic conception of the building.
