The paper is divided in three parts. In the introduction there are generak and current reasons to start a new discussion on future architects’ education. The second part “General Considerations” includes general and pressing facts which are the basic characteristics of the study at the Faculty of Architecture as the artistic and engineering phenomenon. The third part is the response of the author towards the current state of the art from the point of view of a new curriculum. In the frame of the Slovak Technical University’s requirements for study, the proposals how to solve these issues are submitted too.
