SUMMARY

Professor Lacko’s prize was established in 1990 by Slovak Asossiation of Architects and Fund of Fine Arts in Slovakia. Professor Lacko’s prize is the higest evaluation of graduating students. The prize is awarded each year for significant achievement to a best student architecture diploma project of architectural universities all over the Slovakia. The prize takes name from the architect and notable professor Jozef Lacko, who consistently participated on the creating architectural study in STU. Nowadays we celebrate 20th anniversary of this award. During these twenty years, students of Faculty of architecture STU obtained Lacko’s prize 14 times.
