SUMMARY Town-planning education at the FA CTU in Prague represented an independent study branch until 1989. Today only architecture is studied there but town-planning profilation of students is still possible: they can choose town-planning oriented subjects and studios. The studios are “vertical” ones. More freedom in the study program causes problems for some students.
