SUMMARY
Currently, the utilization of architectural heritage in tourist services is very frequently asked for. The architectural monuments intesify the competitiveness of tourism, multiply the added value, and increase the number of visitors. But, this intensification capacity of monuments is limited and it is conditioned by the conservation of authentic cultural values. The function of the temporary accommodation in the form of guesthouse is added to the buildings with a monument value and on the selected events, only. They are specified as follows: when the structure served for a similar function in the past and if the conserved setup of building makes it possible to realise this function without collision. The demolition of any historical part because of the new accommodation function must be avoided. The original artistic decoration must be conserved accordingly.
