SUMMARY

In most countries of the world residential construction is at a turning point. The problems of providing large numbers of people with housing are being replaced increasingly by problems of improving the quality of housing. The inadequacy of our much too hastily erected new towns – constantly felt by the population – forces us to rethink intensively questions of the quality of housing.
