SUMMARY
The guide in the architecture of Slovakia is presented as a model of proportionally balanced and harmonic picture in the whole scale of its typology, from the oldest times up to today. It is the only monograph of the history of architecture in Slovakia without ideological deformations. There are several partial studies but the literature of cultural architectural guidebook covering the whole history since the primeval age up to the end of the 20th century had been missing in our country.
